About the event
Book Society is thrilled to welcome climate journalist and fiction writer Emma Pattee to celebrate her debut novel Tilt! Join us for an insightful conversation and book signing event about this powerful story of survival and resilience that the New York Times book review called “a moving adrenaline rush that also manages to be very funny.” Set in Portland following a catastrophic earthquake, Tilt follows narrator Annie, 37 weeks pregnant, on an epic journey home on foot while she grapples with the anxieties of pending motherhood and loss.
We’re calling it now–Tilt will be one of the “it” books of 2025. Don’t miss this event!
